We had a blast yesterday photographing Josiah Prunty for his senior pictures. What a great kid. We really enjoyed getting to know him, and he was up for just about anything! We got some fun pics of him just being himself.

We met Kim and Spence up at The Four Mile Creek Bed and Breakfast. What a fantastic place that is! Jim and Sharill are the nicest people, and the little ranch there is just the cutest thing I've ever seen! It is definitely our new favorite location to shoot. There are so many cute places, and we just love that old truck!

Kim and Spence only had a short amount of time as they were heading to Denver that afternoon to fly back to California where they live. They had come out to wrap up a few details for the wedding, and we snagged them for a fun engagement session. They were such troopers! It was freezing cold (certainly not feeling like April!), and we ended up getting snowed out! You can actually see it snowing sideways in some of these photos! See their slideshow here. Can't wait to shoot their wedding on top of Aspen Mountain on June 2nd!

Ginny and Dan

A splendid time was had by all on Saturday when Ginny and Dan tied the knot. Everything was absolutely perfect! At the end of the day, even Ginny said that she would not have changed one thing the entire day.

What a special couple they are. The third time's a charm for both of them, and it certainly shows. I can't quite put my finger on it, but there was something special about this wedding. They are so in love, and they both appreciate the fact that they have finally found "the one" in each other. We had a wonderful time photographing their day, and we feel so fortunate to have been a part of this most special time in their lives. Congratulations, Ginny and Dan!

This is our favorite photo from the whole day - there is so much here. Cody with his grandpa's hands.

Ginny made most of the decorations herself (including the bouquets), and there wasn't a detail left undone.

We had so much fun taking some pre-wedding photos with Dan and Ginny yesterday. They are so cute together! I wish all of our couples were this easy to work with. What a great time. Take a look at some of the shots we took:

Hey, we're here in Las Vegas at the WPPI convention (Wedding and Portrait Professionals International). What a fantastic event. We have heard some of the world's greatest photographers speak - Joe Buissink, Denis Reggie, Mike Colon, Kevin Kubota, David Jay - just to name a few. Incredible. Seriously, these guys open up their hearts and minds to speak and teach others, and it has been invaluable for us. We have soooo many new ideas and things that we are so excited about! We can't wait to shoot Ginny and Dan's wedding next weekend, 'cause we are jazzed about where our business is going and the fabulous things we have in store for our clients!

WhooHoo!

Happy Birthday to me! Yea, what a fun day. Had breakfast with my inlaws at the Village Smithy. Mmm. Then lunch with my mom, and Gil made me my favorite dinner - stuffed shells. Too bad I don't get to eat like that everyday!

Autumn and Nicholas

We had so much fun shooting Autumn and Nic's wedding yesterday. Boy, did they have a rough go of it! The day before the wedding, the bride, groom, groom's parents, the groom's brother and his girlfriend all got food poisoning! They had to cancel the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner because everyone was so sick! Autumn ended up at the hospital getting IV fluids!

Then, after everyone pulled it together for the wedding, the band was in a 30-car pile up on Vail Pass in a blinding snowstorm! They totalled two vehicles, but managed to have their equipment trailer towed to Glenwood - only two hours late - but the show must go on! Everyone was such good sports through the whole ordeal! But everything turned out so nice. It was a beautiful ceremony, and the entire day was just so much fun!
