Today, Sue and Paul Gonnerman are celebrating their one year anniversary! A year ago, they tied the knot in Vail. It was a beautiful, Colorado day. We were able to spend some time photographing them at the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens before the wedding. Stunning! So, Sue and Paul, we wish you a very Happy Anniversary!

11 months

Our sweet little man was 11 months old yesterday. Good grief. Where does the time go? This year has gone so much faster than Lucas' first year of life. I guess things get exponentially faster with each additional kid! He is such a joy and has such a great little personality. He's mellow and sweet, yet sometimes crazy. Can't believe his birthday is just around the corner.

That stain on his face is from his first popsicle! Check out those teeth!

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Fathers Day to all of the most special dads in my life - most of all my precious husband and my wonderful father-in-law, Henry. My sweet boys are so very lucky to have the influence, guidance, and love that they have in you both. They will grow up to be honorable, Godly men because of their father and grandfather. Thank you both - from the bottom of my heart.

And a Happy one year Anniversary to Renee and Kevin! We wish you so many more years of happiness together! Thank you for letting us share in your big day a year ago today.

Hey, look at us! We are in the current issue (May/June) of Mothering Magazine! We just didn't get a photo published - it is me and baby Ethan! Gil took this beautiful picture of us when Ethan was just two days old. It is such a precious photo - I love the window light. And the way he is holding his hands...he is so content. The photo runs with an article on attachment parenting, which explains how important it is to have a strong, emotional bond with your children from birth. This is accomplished by using nurturing touch, responding with sensitivity, and providing consistent loving care for your children from birth and into early childhood. We are honored to be part of that article, because we have strong feelings about the importance of attachment parenting.

Anna and Eddy

We had a great time photographing Anna and Eddy for their engagement session. They wanted to do some place special to them, so they picked Piney Lake outside of Vail. What a gorgeous place. Other than having to slosh through a sizeable mud bog in their Jeep, it was pretty easy to get to. And oh so worth the trek up there.

These two - what fun! They were tromping around the lake in flip flops. But it made for some pretty cute photos.

We loved this old piece of farm equipment. It has so much character and ads some great lines and patterns.

Gil loves to shoot through things - trees, branches, flowers, whatever. I really like it - it ads such a nice touch

Is this majestic, or what? The Gore Range fills the horizon and makes for a spectacular backdrop. And it really defines these two.

Thanks, you guys, for a wonderful time letting us make you look so cute! We can't wait for the wedding in September!
