Family fun

We decided to take advantage of a beautiful September day on Saturday and go miniature golfing. Ethan loves to play. Sometimes several times a day he will say "Let's go play miniature golf!". He no longer says "mini golf", it's "miniature golf". Big boy.

Lucas plays with more of a sweeping stroke until his ball goes in the hole. Ethan will usually "tee off" and then pick up his ball and gently drop it into the cup. Hole in two every time!!

This would be a decent family pic if it weren't for Lucas' grumpy face. I guess you take what you can get with little ones!

Brittany and Dave

What a beautiful day it was on Saturday. Beautiful bride, handsome groom, wonderful families filled with love. We were blessed and honored to be a part of Brittany and Dave's wedding. There were so many family members that just embraced us Friday and Saturday. That doesn't happen all the time, so it was truly a wonderful experience.

We are so happy for you both and wish you a lifetime filled with all the joy and fulfillment that we know a marriage can bring! Sending much love! Enjoy...

Random familyness

Or family randomness? Either way, you get the picture. Just a few fun shots from recent endeavors. We took the boys bowling last weekend - Ethan's first time. He LOVED it! And what a natural - he was within a few points of beating us all. Of course, that's with bumpers and the little ramp thingy, but Grandpa Joe would be so proud! I was putting him to bed that night and he looked at me and said "Ethie KNOCK that pin o-ver!".

Gil's parents got this shirt for Ethan for his birthday and I think it is so cute! It is certainly his favorite. If he is standing there when I open his drawer in the morning, he pulls it out and says "wear John Deere shirt". There it is. No need arguing.


Isn't this just so typical? One sock on, one sock off. My little man is most content "washing dishes". If I need him to get out from underfoot so I can cook, all I have to do is turn on a little trickle of water and give him a few plastic cups and viola! A very happy boy.

Oh, my little man, where have you gone? You are such a big boy.

Brittany & Dave

We had a lot of fun shooting Brittany and Dave's engagement session the other night! We hit some really great spots and even their dog, Ajax, got in the action. These two were up for just about anything. Oh, and they're in love, too! And with just two weeks left before their wedding, they are taking it all in stride!
